I did it this way because saying 1 makes it sound like you're just turning the knob a tiny bit but you're actually turning it more than half way. Saying 8 makes it sound like you're turning it a lot, but you're really only turning it a little bit. I hope that makes sense to you. If you don't understand military time it is simple.

1-24=represent the # of hours in the day 1-12=AM 13-24=PM 13=1pm 16=4pm 14=2pm 17=5pm 15=3pm 13.5=1:30pm you won't need to go past 17, because the way the knobs are on the microcube, you can't.
